Ternary map, also known as Ternary Plot, has three coordinate axes. Unlike rectangular coordinate system, its three coordinate axes are connected end to end to form an equilateral triangle with an included angle of 60 degrees. "Yuan" means components, or parts. Ternary diagram is mainly used to show the proportion of three components in different samples. In microbial diversity analysis, ternary phase diagram can show the relative abundance of species in different groups. In the ternary phase diagram, different points represent different species/genes/proteins, the size of points represents the average abundance of the species/genes in different groups, usually gray points represent non-enrichment, and the other three colors represent enriched groups.

2. Application scope:

It is applicable to transcriptome, metabolome, protein, 16S and other data suitable for drawing ROC curve.

3. Input

1) The data table is a file that must be input, which can be a gene expression table, a microbial species relative abundance table and other data, and is mapped according to the marked content. When the Enrich grouping information is input, an enrich ternary diagram is generated. (Enrich: the content of the annotation should correspond to the grouping table, fill in the enrichment of the species in the grouping, and fill in none if it is not enriched. )

2) The grouping table is a file that must be entered, and the number of groupings of the ternary diagram is 3. The names of the three groupings and the samples in the grouping table should be clearly stated. Note that this file must have a header, and you can refer to the sample file.

3) The sum of data in all groups must be greater than 0.

4) All tables are in txt format saved by tab-delimited.

Description of uploaded file format: the format is as follows. The data must be separated by tab characters. You can choose to open it in Excel and save it as a. txt file separated by tab key.

4. Output

The program calculates and draws according to the input file, and switches tasks in the result display to check the task status.

2) Graphics global parameters:

Graphic title and font can be modified. You can check the parameters such as display coordinate scale, auxiliary line inside graph, legend, coordinate axis direction, etc., and also check the point size normalization (Z-score method)
